31 October 2008

Clerk of the House
House of Representatives
The Parliament
Wellington
NEW ZEALAND

Dear Sir/Madam

WHAIKA TE WHAKAPONO:  Seek for the Truth – Follow the Truth

Admissions of perjury from 14 undercover police officers were tabled in Parliament and entered in the Hansard record on 30 May 1996

Same day, Parliament was also told that that 50 former undercover officers had admitted giving perjured evidence in criminal trials “on at least ten occasions each” (Legal Research Foundation reference:  2006-0224)

I write and ask if you would please provide me the following information . . .

(1.)  Can you confirm or correct this Hansard reference number in relation to those tabled documents from the 14 police officers:   NZPD 1996, v.555: 12885-12888

(2.) Was this matter investigated and, if so, by whom

(3.) Was the result of this investigation reported back to the Parliament

(4.) What has the Parliament done subsequently

My interest in these matters arises from my own confession of giving perjured evidence as an undercover police officer. The following on-line reference is provided for your information:

Please communicate with me by email; there is no return address

Thank you

Yours sincerely
